Hi, I'm Nicky and my husband's name is Poss.
We are seeking a house-sitting position on or just north of the Gold Coast for dates that are around April 9th through to the 14th.
Due to circumstances outlined below we house minded a number of homes and pets throughout NSW last year and really enjoyed the experience.
We normally live in Queensland but our work in the power industry takes us around the country. While we were working on a powerline contract in NSW last year, Poss was diagnosed with cancer and started chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment in NSW, which made him too sick to continue working, so we started housesitting/ petsitting as a way of keeping costs down through the long months of treatment and followup.
We have had three positions so far: a house on 9 actes in Molong with 2 dogs and 6 sheep for 37 days, a unit in Orange with a 17yo cat for 12 days and a house at Mount Colah with a 17yo cat for 20 days. All of the homeowners have been very happy with the way we took care of their homes and pets.
We have returned to our home in Qld for a few months for Poss to recover from the treatment with a view to returning to work by the middle of the year.
In the meantime, we are seeking the occasional house-sitting position.
We love animals, are honest and we are very capable and reliable to take care of your home and precious pets while you take a break.
