Hi, my name is Kirsten and I'm a single, conscientious, non-smoker who loves animals and enjoys the quiet life. I've had both cats and dogs for the majority of my life and understand completely that they are members of the family who get worried about and loved just like children. (I'm more than happy to send photos via text to reassure you your pets are happy in your absence).

I work from home, so will have plenty of time to interact with your pets and provide that human connection they need and love. And, of course, make sure any dogs get regular walks.

As an owner of a rental property, I understand the importance of the stranger in your house looking after your home and property, so you can rest assured I'll take great care of your home and everything in it, while still respecting your privacy.

Recently, I travelled overseas for my brother's wedding and we engaged private house sitters to care for my mum's home, cat and dog. I'm pleased to say the animals were fine upon our return, but we did come back to a broken vacuum cleaner and a toilet that looked like it hadn't been cleaned the entire month we were away! I would never leave a home in this state and will be very careful to ensure your homecoming is stress free.
