I am a very active, healthy, reliable and conscientious person who has a 'down to earth' approach to situations. I am a semi retired teacher so I have a police check (working with children). I love dogs (preferring the more 'gentle' natured type) having owned a much loved, and I must say a very spoiled, Shi Tzu for 13 years. So I am comfortable with inside animals, sitting on the couch or on my lap as we watch TV together. In addition I am very aware of the importance of daily exercise to dogs, as well as special needs of elderly dogs. I have a reputation amongst my friends as a bit of a cleanness and tidiness nut when it comes to house and garden. I have only house sat for friends or friends of friends so I have not extensive references in house sitting. However I can assure home owners I will treat your home as my own. Anna (from Qld, A house owner whose house I sat in July 2016) said ' we came home from our holiday to find our house looking the cleanest it has ever looked'. I can provide phone numbers and email addresses from referees from my house sitting as well as my former employer.
