Dear Sir/Madam,

We are a mature, caring , reliable professional married couple who would enjoy taking excellent care of your pet babies, farm animals, birds and property.
We have been in a short term rental at Mount Coolum for 3 months after deciding to move here following a 9 month caravan adventure.

We both have casual work in the Sunshine Coast at Buderim private hospital and C Q University Noosa.

In August last year we completed a wonderful farm sitting in Myocum NSW in August , on a 110 acre property with 40 cows, bulls and most cows in calf , chickens , hot houses, dogs and additional farm work.

We also house sat for 5 weeks on acreage near Mullimbimby , caring for a beautiful little deaf border collie and guinea pigs.

We are familiar with owning a variety of properties including acreage ( I owned a 20 acre property and established a vineyard / farm stay in Gloucester and Michael has worked on a 500 acre farm with cattle and crops).

We have owned and love caring for animals ( domestic and farm (horses, cows, goats, chickens) birds, mice, rabbits , guinea pigs, cats and dogs.

Background

With our 4 children now all working and independent, we decided to sell up and embark on a caravan / house/ farm sit traveling adventure for 6-12 months.

We have been seeking new horizons and after almost 9 months travelling we have decided we would like to live in the Sunshine Coast.
We have purchased a block of land in Yaroomba and hope to utilize a house sit opportunity to allow us to stay in the area so we can build.

We are healthy, positive and flexible in terms of property / animals/ garden care and time frames and would love to speak with you if you feel we can help .

Qualifications

Michael is a RN and Carpenter and I am a trainer / educator in Mental Health , Nursing and Business Management (so, if you happen to have any business opportunities that require these skills we would be delighted to chat to you about these also).

Michael has a Heavy Rigid Licence and can drive a tractor.
We both have a Boat and Motor Bike Licence and drive quads etc.

We own a little English staffy and 2 cats who are all desexed and very social.
They have been traveling very happily with us in the van for more than 9 months and loved the gypsy life.

They are all great pals, very friendly and at ease with other animals and birds.

Having owned and rented a number of houses and an array of animals, we very much appreciate how precious and important this responsibility is for all of us.

We understand whoever cares for your property and pets will need to put as much care and love into these as you would.
