More information about this house sitter

Hi. I've spent the last four months house-sitting for various friends and family and have absolutely loved it. It's a great way to explore new neighbourhoods, save money and meet interesting people and their pets and plants.

I am a person of few possessions, and I work in Melbourne CBD, so I find it easy to move from place to place, while still being able to get to work pretty easily. Recently, I've house-sat in Brunswick and Newport, and I'm currently sitting in Woodend until October 1.

I'm experienced with looking after animals and watering plants. I usually prefer to eat out, meaning your kitchen won't get too much of a work out.

The only things I usually take with me from place to place are a suitcase of clothes, my laptop and my acoustic guitar. I work as a designer/editor in the newspaper industry, but I also am a freelance illustrator and crossword writer. Housesitting gives me the opportunity to live alone, which is a luxury after years of share-housing, and helps me be productive.
