I am a German currently living in beautiful Tasmania. I have been living in Hobart for two years and am absolutely loving it. I work 2.5 days a week in the CBD (office hours) and study the other 2.5 days (which is still online/from home at this stage, otherwise I would be in the CBD on those days as well). I love Tassie's beautiful nature and try to go hiking most weekends but if I was taking care of a pet obviously I would be happy to adjust as per their needs.
I would like to do some housesitting as I have the spare time and would be more than happy to take care of some furry friends. I am experienced with a variety of animals - I used to have small pets myself, I did horseback riding for many years and I did a few wwoofing/work exchanges on various kinds of farms. This involved farm/house/pet sitting a couple of times in Canada and made me get to take care of anything from chickens to turkeys, tortoise to dogs and goats to cows.
Also I would quite like to experience living in different areas in Hobart. I have lived in West Hobart and Glebe and whilst these are both great I know that many other areas would be very enjoyable too. I do drive but don't have a car, however, I am happy to commute on public transport.
I have a preference for longer term housesits but would be open to short ones as well.
I am 32 years old, reliable and respectful. I have been living in and traveling around multiple countries over the last few years so I am flexible and responsible. References can be provided on request. Read more...
