We are a retired couple, one British one Australian. We have been together in the UK for the last 20 years. We are moving to live permanently in a location just south of Tweed Heads. We own a property there but it is currently rented out and will not be available to us for a few months. We are looking for efficient ways of accommodating ourselves until our own property becomes available. We will be available to house sit from 8th August.

We are both non-smokers and have both been double-vaccinated (some months ago) in the UK. We will have been through hotel quarantine by the time of our first availability date.

In the UK (and pre-pandemic) we were hosts on Airbnb and we have been regular guests via Airbnb while travelling, so we know all about respecting and caring for other people's property from both sides of that relationship. Please ask if you want to see our reviews both as guests and hosts on Airbnb.

We are animal lovers with recent experience of raising a puppy on his way to train as a guide dog for the blind. Please feel free to ask for photos of how gorgeous he was - but at your own risk, we have thousands of them. Between us, we have at different times had many sorts of pets ranging from fish to goats. We are comfortable looking after anything non-deadly.

Ro is a keen gardener and Dennis is happy to operate a lawn mower.

We have had police checks carried out as part of Dennis's visa application. Having lived in both the UK and Australia, Ro has one for each country. Dennis only has a UK one.
