Dan was raised in Safety Bay, WA and met Emjay, originally Kiwi, in Margaret River. The two have been living in Prevelly in the years since, in between their international and cross-country touring schedule as a part of Blue Child Collective.

Both Emjay and Dan are nature lovers and vegetarian, keen on animals and gardening.
