More information about this house sitter

I have completed several successful house-sitting assignments and we have had house-sitters to look after our dog so I understand what your expectations would be.

My reasons for house-sitting are to escape Melbourne weather (especially during winter!) and to visit other parts of Australia. I am married but my husband would probably not accompany me as he has interests which keep him at home (as well as looking after our own dog!).

We currently have a beagle and, previously, a border collie so I am used to looking after pets and would treat yours as if they were my own. (Although I haven’t owned a cat, I would be happy to love and look after yours.) I would also ensure they received any medication at the right time.

We own our own home and keep it well-maintained, clean and tidy. I would keep your house to the same standard. I also garden and would be prepared to water and do some maintenance gardening. I am a non-smoker.

I am retired but very active and have varied interests including tennis, reading, languages and travel.

I have a “Working with Children” police check and could provide a character reference if required as well as references from house-owners for whom I have house sat. Read more...
