More information about this house sitter

Hi!
Thank you for taking the time to consider us as your future guest. We (Eric & Giovanna) know how difficult it can be letting a strange person into you personal space and the responsibility of caring for your best friend (pet) so let us take that stress away!

We have been house/pet sitting for the past 2 years. Most recently, we wrapped up a 7 day experience at an animal sanctuary in the jungles of Northern Thailand. Here we cared for a large variety of animals (from elephants to dogs). We were not only responsible for feeding, bathing and loving the animals but also keeping up their homes (after you can carry elephant poop, no poop is too big or messy).

"Mind a home" is our first time using an official site to be connected with new opportunities, usually it has all been word of mouth. Therefore, as you can see in the limited amount of photos we are allowed to upload, we have had a lot of reoccurring clients which has allowed us to make special bonds with the animals we care for. With that being said, we are very respective of the animals, their space, their need to adjust and your space. Meaning we do NOT push the animals to do anything that makes them or you feel uncomfortable. We are a very active/outdoorsy couple who love having animals join us on our walks, hikes, swims, etc. But if that makes you or your pet feel uncomfortable, in anyway, we completely respect that. If you say no animals on the furniture, we respect that. Your house rules are our rules.

So why are we using "Mind a home"? Well that's simple! We have recently relocated to Australia from San Francisco, California, USA and don't know anyone, the area, things to do/see, etc. so we thought "Mind a Home" would be a great way to get to know the area and meet great new friends (both furry and not). Plus, we have really enjoyed our past experiences with sitting and would like to continue that in Australia.

We understand how precious your home and the bond between you and your furry best friends are so we feel honored to have you share them with us.
Cheers,
Eric & Giovanna
