My husband and I live on the south island of New Zealand and have decided that since we are semi-retired we are going to take advantage of the Australian winter and escape New Zealand for up to six months each year.
We are non smoking pet lovers and have had many dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and even a monkey over the years.
We are very active and enjoy swimming in our lake, tramping and gardening. Our property is small but has a large veggie patch and many fruit trees and ornamentals to prune.
We have twin 23 year olds who are currently traveling the world so we are free to roam about.
We are both very clean and quite handy should anything need attention while we are sitting. We are renting our house out and have reservations about finding the right people so we understand this process can be an emotional one.
