My husband and I are happily retired in the UK, and spend 4-6 months in Australia each year. Our interests are golf, gardening and walking, and we are both fit and active, and non-smokers.

We love House-sitting and adore what we do, as it gives us the opportunity to spend time in different parts of the UK and Australia, while staying in the security of Home-Owners' homes. This enables us to look after your home and pets, whilst in return we get to know lots of different places really well. In Australia, it also gives us the opportunity to see our daughters in Brisbane, and we prefer to house-sit for a good period of the time rather than staying with them for such a long period.

We have house-sat for the past 9 years in Brisbane mainly, though we did one in Peregian Springs last year through Mindahome and have some excellent references, which we can forward on request.

We feel we are very reliable and houseproud, and have always prided ourselves on keeping your house looking and running as if it were our own home. We adore animals, have looked after many over the years, and have always had our own - so we would love to look after yours while you're away. We are also more than willing to maintain your garden and pool if required, and have had plenty of past experience. Read more...
