About this house sitting position in Darwin

Sitter wanted to keep our big 1 year old rescue puppy company and feed two friendly cats.

Plunge pool
Extra large suburban block with beautiful tropical garden
Located in a good street in Karama (generally a low socioeconomic area)
Car available for your use (a dual-cab Hilux).

Sitter accommodation will be in our large 2 Bedroom self contained granny flat - Queen bed plus 2x singles.

Our doggy Xander is a good guard dog with a big bark on him. Once he gets to know you you will be his absolute bestie. He needs regular exercise and this will require someone young and strong enough to play tug-of-war with him and keep hold of him on the lead if he gives a sudden tug. He's not a great fit for small children (our youngest is 8) but loves other dogs. He will also need your patience during any big thunderstorms.

The cats are chill, just feed them and change their litter tray. They're outside adventuring during the day but love snuggles at night.

We are willing to offer a longer stay in our granny flat through January in exchange for this petsitting (eg if you are looking to move to Darwin and need short-term accommodation). We can also work with you if you can only do part of the dates.
