About this house sitting position in Essendon

We're looking for an individual/couple to look after our house, dog and two cats, whilst we are away in QLD. Located in Essendon in Melbourne within 100 metres of train station, and minutes away from the freeway its a perfect location for getting about. Walking distance to lovely cafes of Essendon and North Essendon and 20 minute train ride into the CBD.

The single storey house has four bedrooms (two queen size and two rooms with single loft/bunk beds), bathroom, shower room and toilets and another seperate ensuite, kitchen / dining area and a lounge. Ideally the Housesitter would use the one double bedroom with the ensuite only.

Ecologically designed the house is very comfortable to live in. Our house is set up to be self-sufficient for a long weekend, so this housesit is very easy. Dog and cats need feeding and company and access to water. The dog needs walking or taken to the oval for a run everyday. Chickens are locked away at night by an automatic door and have auto feeders that last about 5 days, but the eggs need to be removed, ideally daily. You'll need to clean the chickens out once, max! Takes 4 minutes.
There are veggie wicking beds that are self sufficient, but the veggie patch out back which would love to be watered once a week. Its basically a mini rural retreat in the city. We're not overlooked and are surrounded by ancient eucalyptus.

Available off road parking in secure garage. Access to wifi. Housesitter can use the guest bedroom with own ensuite.

Chickens are locked away at night by an automatic door and have auto feeders that last about 6 days, but the eggs need to be removed, ideally daily. You'll need to clean the chickens out once a week, max! Takes 4 minutes.
Cats needs feeding daily and patting.
There is a veggie patch out back which would love to be watered twice a week.
