About this house sitting position in Kippa-Ring

We are a family of four with a senior pug named Biggie, living in beautiful Moreton Bay, QLD.

We are travelling to Canada for 3 weeks to see my family, and we are seeking a single individual (preferably female), who lives locally that would be interested in housesitting and pug-sitting for us while we are away. As our pug, Biggie is 9, he has developed diabetes which we are still trying to get under control. He requires 2x insulin injections (1x 7am and 1x7pm - post meals). So you will need to be comfortable giving him his medication. He’s very well trained and has a specific routine.

Additionally, Biggie is blind so he needs to stay in our home for his familiarity. Biggie requires his regular routine and we’re seeking someone who we can meet with first in person, possibly test out a weekend prior to us leaving overseas, to make sure this will work.

We have a 3 bedroom, 2 story townhome but only 1 bedroom will be made available. We lives within walking distance to Coles and Woolworths within Peninsula Fair shopping Centre and a 10 minute drive to the Redcliffe waterfront. Our vehicle will not be available for use while we are away.

The person we are looking for not need to be present with Biggie all day but he does sleep on our bedroom floor, and he needs someone with him at night so he does not get stressed.
