5–6 Week Placement – Solo Traveller Wanted for House & Pet Care (West Gippsland)

We are seeking a reliable, independent solo traveller to care for our comfortable home situated on the rural fringe of a thriving small country town in West Gippsland.
Commencing Saturday, 14 September (or earlier by negotiation).
The residence offers a highly accessible and convenient base for exploring or commuting, situated within easy walking distance of the local V/Line train and just a few kilometres from the M1 freeway.

This arrangement offers full use of the house for living, with a negotiated weekly payment provided throughout the period. A performance-based cash bonus will also be paid upon the successful completion of the assignment.

Responsibilities:
• Dog Care: Looking after our dog. He needs his walks and sniffing out his territories. Simple to feed and water. He is low maintenance but energetic and very playful.
• Aquariums & Ponds: Maintaining the 2 small indoor aquariums and our 2 outdoor ponds every two to three days. The ponds are largely self-sustaining and only require an occasional water top-up.
• Lawn & Garden Care: Mowing the lawn once a week (self-propelled mower) and maintaining regular indoor and outdoor plant care. Our small orchard is in bloom and the sitter will hopefully enjoy the fruit during their stay.


This position is ideally suited to a solo traveller looking for a serene, stable, and well-connected base for the spring.
