About this house sitting position in North Lakes

I am looking for a solo house-sitter to care for my home, which is situated in a quiet, leafy suburb with bushland and walking paths close by.

The local bus stop is within walking distance. There is a major shopping centre approximately 5-10 mins away by car or if you have no transport and require groceries, home delivery is available from the major supermarkets.

In addition to looking after my home, I have a 13 year old border collie who will need looking after, and feeding daily. I would prefer someone who will be home at times during the day, and definitely overnight.

As I only have a small backyard, I also require someone who is able to walk my dog of a morning, and in the afternoon. She is a very placid, sweet, non aggressive dog, walks very well on a lead, and responds well to most commands, and looks forward to her daily walks.

“Kerry's home is in a great location! It's a very quiet neighbourhood with paths everywhere to explore when walking Rosie, either through bushland or just around the streets and playing fields, or even around the abandoned golf course. Rosie is an absolute darling, a very well behaved, obedient and loving soul. Kerry left very clear instructions and everything needed to care for Rosie so no issues there at all. The house is lovely, modern, very private plus secure. Everything you need is there, clean, comfortable and welcoming. It was a pleasure to know Kerry and Rosie. Highlights were: the walks with Rosie, never the same path was taken! The kitchen table and outlook, I spent some very relaxing hours just colouring in, reading or completing computer work there. The quiet neighbourhood filled with lovely gardens. ”

“Beautiful house in a great location. Communication with Kerry couldn't have been better and great notes provided. Rosie is an amazing, calm, obedient and affectionate dog. Never a problem. She chose where we walked and got us back home as well. Without her knowledge I would have got lost many times. There are a number of wide paths through and around the subdivision, and along with a nearby, abandoned golf course, provided a variety of walking opportunities, much of them shaded. Highly recommend this house sit and would welcome the opportunity to do it again if invited. Thank you Kerry & Rosie.”
