About this house sitting position in North Wollongong

Hi we are Dave & Liz. I have just retired (RN) and Dave is a self employed painter. We are looking for a house sitter who will care for our 2 dogs and keep our apartment maintained. We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on the third floor (there is a lift) of a smallish complex. We have a very large north facing balcony with floor to ceiling glass doors from all the rooms opening onto the balcony. It gets lots of lovely sunshine in winter and is a well built quiet apartment. It is 10 mins walk to North Beach, coffee shops and the 'Blue Mile' walk to Wollongong Harbour. 15mins walk to shops and a 20 mins walk to Fairy Meadow leash free beach. We have 2 Springer Spaniel dogs. Marlon is 13 years old, he is very friendly, laid back and loves food.  Ziggy is a working Springer, he is 6 years old and has lots of energy. He loves chasing a ball, playing tug and running on leash free beach or park. He also has a lovely nature and is willing to please. Both dogs love beach walks (although Marlon has slowed right down). When home they are happy to sleep a lot and are calm and quiet at home. We have a caravan and do a few short trips during the year and also like to travel. Ideally we are looking for a house sitter or couple who live perhaps not too far away but like coming to the beach at Wollongong and may be available for some longer and shorter sits. A couple would work well as some-one could stay with our older dog Marlon while Ziggy gets to go for a longer walk, but a single person would be OK too. Both dogs can be left at home for periods during the day.
