“We had a wonderful time house and pet sitting on this lovely acreage property. Looking after the two lovely dogs, the two budgies, sheep, goats and alpaca and the goldfish was an absolute pleasure. The dogs were well-behaved and affectionate, and it was a joy to care for them. The peaceful surroundings made it feel like a retreat—we enjoyed going for bike rides, listening to the birds, and just soaking in the serenity. “Nadine's menagerie was surprisingly easy to look after. Feeding the alpaca, sheep and goats each morning and evening was easy, as was feeding the birds, fish and dogs. And the dogs didn't need to be walked as they have such a large area to run around in. The sheep and goats were all affectionate but the dogs, Scooby and Ditto, were the highlight of my stay. Super cuddly. Always came straight back inside when called. I loved their company. You'll need a vehicle if you want to go anywhere. Lake Leschenaultia is nice and close. But the animals are well worth staying home for. And if you're after peace and quiet it doesn't get any better. You can't see or hear the neighbours. I loved my time at Nadine's and she kept in touch regularly to see how we were going. I recommend this country retreat.”
