About this house sitting position in Thornlie

We’re looking for a cat-loving sitter to stay in our cosy 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom home in a quiet neighbourhood. The house has a king bed and a queen bed, Wi-Fi, streaming services, washer/dryer, and space to park a small-to-medium caravan in the front yard.

We’re close to the beautiful Canning River (perfect for walking or cycling along the paths), and within walking distance to local shops, a pool, and a library. The big Carousel Shopping Centre is just a 10-minute drive away.

The Cats

We have two affectionate cats who will definitely keep you company:
• Azriel (Az): Our cheeky boy. He’s playful, loves to be picked up, and will follow you around the house. He’s quick to warm up to new people and is full of quirks—zoomies, playing with rubber bands, drinking from the shower or sink, and napping on the dryer.
• Ferris: Our foster cat, who’s been with us for about a year. He may seem a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’ll happily curl up on your chest for a cuddle and purr session. He loves playing chase with Az, though they do sometimes bicker like siblings.

Both cats are used to sharing the bed with us, so ideally we’d love a sitter who’s comfortable having furry friends around them a lot of the time.

The cats are dog friendly (our dog will be going to stay elsewhere while we are away) and we have a large backyard. We are open to having a pet sitter with their own dog as long as they are cat friendly.

Who We’re Looking For
• Must be genuine cat people (these two are affectionate and love attention).
• Someone happy to have cats sleep nearby or on the bed.
