Hey,

If you want your beloved pets to be looked after by an animal lover like no other look no further :) I absolutely adore animals and love spending time with them. Back home in Finland I have 2 dogs (white swiss shepherds) and chickens at the moment but we have always had cats as well. My cat for 19 years just passed away in the autumn. I also lost my beloved german shepherd to a heart condition recently so spending time with animals right now is highly valuable to me. They offer such great company & therapy hardly any person could.

For a few years we also had a few sheep too. I also feed the wild birds that live near us. I have past experience in looking after other people's pets. (Can ask for references if you like.) Cats and dogs mainly. In one place I stayed for 3 weeks where I looked after 2 dogs, an east siberian laika and a bolonka zwetna. Another place I stayed at had 7 huskies and 2 lapponian herders. I've also looked after some tabbies in the past. We always had around 5 cats when I was little so I've been around cats since from a very early age.

Whenever I'm dealing with animals either at home or looking after other people's pets I try to put myself in the pet's position and think what I would want if I was that particular pet. Meeting their basic needs is something I take seriously and it's the least you can do for them. I'm an active person myself so walking your dogs is something I would enjoy just as much as your dog ! I know how IMPORTANT it is to be able to go away when you know someone reliable is looking after your pets. It makes being away from them so much easier & you also want to enjoy your holiday knowing everything is OK back home :)

I've recently moved to Australia to do my working holiday visa and thought that housesitting would be a great opportunity for me to see more of your beautiful country and that way meet more people and give me a chance to hang out with people's pets ! I think it's a win win situation for everyone involved. :)

In my sparetime I like to cook, read, exercise, do yoga & meditate.
