Hello homeowners,

We are a young, fun-loving family of four, along with our older border collie, and we're all very excited at the possibility of housesitting for you!

We currently live in Perth but are packing up to get ready for our move to the Sunshine Coast. We would love to buy our own first home within the next year, so we love the idea of housesitting so we can not only meet wonderful new people and pets, but to also be able to experience different areas as if we were locals, which will help us figure out where would most love to settle down when we're ready.

We have 2 wonderful children- our son is almost 3 months old, and our daughter is 4 years old. She's just amazing- so much fun and has such a beautiful nature. She absolutely loves animals and is so kind and caring towards them, so she will give your pets plenty of love and attention.

Mitch is a Remedial Massage Therapist. He's a huge dog lover and really enjoys spending time with our dog Loki. They used to compete in Agility competitions together, and a couple of years ago they won the State Titles in WA. Mitch loves running and understands how important it is for dogs to be both physically and mentally stimulated, so he always prioritises getting the dogs out each day for a run (or training of some sort) to tire them out. He's also previously worked in boarding kennels, and currently does dog training as a side job, so your dogs are definitely in good hands with him!
As well, Mitch has previously worked as a landscaper, so he is able to be handy in the garden (and the house) and help look after your gardens.

Heidi is a full time mum and loves spending time with the kids, especially while they are so young. She enjoys exploring new places and getting the kids out into nature as much as possible for fun new adventures. We also do spend lots of time at home, so if your pets need lots of company, we'll be around for them.

Our dog Loki is a border collie and is 10 years old. He is one of the most well behaved and chilled out dogs you'll ever meet! Everyone he meets is always complimenting us on how beautiful and calm he is. He has lived with other dogs, chickens (we currently have chickens but they won't be moving with us) and cats, and has holidayed on properties with horses, and is fine with all of them- he shows no interest in cats, chickens or horses, so if you have any of those there's no need to worry about him being around them. He generally isn't that interested in other dogs, but he does love a good play and run around with some of them every now and then (especially other border collies and greyhounds, as his best friend/our other dog was a greyhound who sadly has passed away, but he definitely does show interest in other greyhounds!). He is also very caring and nurturing towards puppies. As long as other dogs aren't aggressive towards him, then he will be completely fine with other dogs and any other animals.

Before having the kids, we have housesat multiple times for family and friends and really enjoyed it. We are a very respectful, responsible and quiet family who will make it our priority to ensure your beloved pets and home are loved and taken care of.
Mitch is in the process of applying for jobs, and ideally he'll be working in the Sunshine Coast so we'd love to do housesits in that area, however we are also open to other surrounding areas, such as Brisbane.
