More information about this house sitter

Mitch and I have been together for 10 year and married for four. We have the great fortune of realising our travel dreams through home/pet sitting and love that wherever we go we get to be local tourists. We are both healthy active non-smokers, and keen house proud home/pet sitters. Having owned and loved several pets ourselves we know how important it is to have safe, reliable and secure care for your beloved four legged family members. We aim to continue your pets’ routine while you are away, providing company and gentle assurance to ensure as little upset to them as possible.

We are relaxed and empathetic around older animals, treating them with the patience and kindness they deserve. We are comfortable giving medicine when required and would never hesitate to arrange a visit to the vet if we felt it necessary.

We have experience with ride-on mowers and outdoor maintenance. Mitch has worked for may years as an aborist and also has extensive expereince maintaining pools and spas.

In our working lives, consideration of the important things in the lives of others has been an essential ingredient to our success - myself as a teacher, and Mitchell as as an allied health professional.

We take incredible pride in the maintenance of each home we visit, providing the attention and care we would to our own home.

We consider each home/pet sitting to be an extraordinary privilege. Being invited into your home to care for that which you hold dear. We also see it as a win-win: to be able to look after your pets in their own home gives them stability and continuity gives you peace of mind and gives us the opportunity to travel and have new experiences. We have plenty of free time, generally leading a quiet life, comfortable in and enjoying each others' company, and are very happy home-bodies.

For many years we have been (and where possible, continue to be) involved with community-based volunteering and have a number of personal references. We have a great love of travelling and are comfortable living in and visiting other places. Where possible, we are willing to visit your home so you and your pets may meet us before you decide. We have National Police Clearances and are able to supply house-sit referees.
