More information about this house sitter
Hello. We are outdoor enthusiasts from the UK , 28 & 31 years old. We decided to, sell up back home and spend a few years travelling and exploring career opportunities.
We are looking for a bit of home comfort in-between work and moving from place to place. Both of us are organised, clean/tidy and respect our living space, we would look after your home as if it were our own and you could expect it to be the way you left it when you returned without any concern.
We love fresh air and physical exercise, so any home with a dog to walk and play with is great for us, we miss our family dog 'Rainbow' desperately.
However we love all animals and it would be a pleasure to share our love with any/all of your pets.
Since we began travelling we have been staying with families through 'workaway' we have been so blessed to meet such lovely people and lovely animals which has encouraged us to search for other opportunities to care for animals and stay in different locations.
We enjoy a healthy lifestyle and the simple life, walks in nature and reading a good book. Please get in touch if we sound like the right people to mind your home and care for your pets, we look forward to hearing from you :)
Testamonials; "It was a great pleasure to have hosted Lydia and Gareth for nearly three weeks. They were both extremely hardworking, enthusiastic and responsible in everything they did. They were respectful of our home and lifestyle and were wonderful company.
Both Lydia and Gareth looked after our animals and garden with a great level of care that was reflected their work. They were easy to work with and happy to undertake projects on their own. They worked at a cracking pace and we would highly recommend them to any Workaway host.. and welcome them back any day!!" Gaynor & Craig

"Gareth and Lydia stayed with us for four weeks, they fitted into our family very well and were an absolute pleasure to have. They achieved a great deal in their time here, not only were they involved with moving 1000's of sheep, fixing fences and helping to manage a lamb feedlot, they taught our three young girls a lot. Lydia ran yoga classes at the girls school and at our local community hall. Lydia's ability to connect and calm, caring approach to her yoga classes greatly inspired our children. They also taught our girls a lot about their world experiences. Gareth and Lydia were a wonderful help around the home, always going beyond what was expected to help with cooking, cleaning and the kids homework. They are very organised, respectful and tidy people.
In their help on the farm I was extremely impressed with their attention to detail, but ability to still get stuff done in a timely manner. This was achieved through an intelligent and positive approach to any task presented to them. I would highly recommend Gareth and Lydia as very hard working, positive and extreamly caring people to any other lucky workaway families or hosts. Thank you greatly for giving a lot to our family and the farm. Good luck." Andrew and Michelle

Lucy, Molly & Lola enjoyed all the fuss you made of them. I don't think these dogs have experienced such devotion for quite a while. Even Lucy's rather rich old age odours did not disqualify her from having her hugs & kisses. You were brave Lydie!
It was an absolute delight having you both staying with us for those 3 weeks. The wonderful mix of optimism, harmony, calm, skill, determination and team spirit you bought into our midst was refreshing & energising.
You are welcome to come back any time & I promise the next stay will be easier than the first. After all beetroots & parsnips have smaller roots than banana trees!
Thank you so much for the huge tasks you accomplished while here. My load is a lot lighter now! Hope Your housesit is going well in Queensland and that you continue to be fulfilled with benefitting others with your many talents & abilities. Miss you guys!
Warmest regards,
