Hi I’m Simon, the father of two boys, Baxter 17 and David 15
I live in Kuranda ( a rainforest village above Cairns) and my sons live in Seattle USA. For three months a year my boys come to me and we explore different parts of Australia. We are all animal lovers I have a dog, “Ellie” ( who is being house minded as we house mind … hope that makes sense) and the boys have a dog “Captain” back in Seattle. We LOVE house minding as a way of as close as possible to experience the life of a local. We are extremely conscientious , as a home owner myself I am aware that it is a privilege and honour to be given the responsibility of caring for someone’s home and family ( read pets) .
I am 55 and in sales. Baxter is 17 and about to leave a specialised Arts school in Tacoma, Washington ( Tacoma School of the Arts) he is an accomplished guitarist and singer and will be studying at Berklee College in Boston next year. David is likewise going to a specialist school SAMI ( Science and Math Institute) also in Tacoma . He’s the big animal lover and wants to be a zoo keeper.

I hope you will consider us when thinking of people to care for your home . We promise to look after it as much as we do our own .
