grew up on dairy / sheep farm..with chooks, pigs, horses, dogs
have lived in Perth, Brisbane + mainly Sydney
moved back NZ eventually to get married + build a house in Devonport, Auckland
later on, got pregnant, sold up + moved to New Plymouth to be around/start, our family.
dog, dog, dogs + cats, cats, cats...I just LOVE them all .. have had several of each over the years. I love ALL animals. When you have a chronic disability like MS, a pet's company is such a BLESSING!
my two amazing boys [men] live in Australia now...one Brisbane, the other Canberra.
I don't use a wheelchair, but have one, or a 'zimmer-frame' ..haha walking frame..but have one of them toositting there also.
I use a trekking pole when I go out tho. I walk unaided around the house type thing. My biggest 'annoyance' [ ;-) ] is FATIGUE. OMGosh it sucks.
I would be a great house/pet sitter 'candidate' because I would be around the house most of the time, giving loads of love, company + reassurance to your precious darling/s.
So my desire is to get a Victoria Point, Brisbane sitting or 2 months. A home just down the road from my son + his partner's place is my goal...also in the cooler seasons in Oz..June July. i NEED to spend time with their nearly 2 yr old daughter, my first grandchild!!., plus there's another on the way ;-).
