Hi my name is Alison, I am a non smoking, non drinking ,vegetarian. I am currently working part time for myself and enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
I am organised, practical and enjoy the company of animals, doing things well and having a laugh.
Having previously been a house proud home owner I now enjoy a nomadic lifestyle.

House sitting is enjoyable for me because caring for things is just in my nature and it is what I enjoy to do, whether it is a home or a pet or a garden.
It also gives me more opportunities to meet new people and discover new places.

I've spent most of my life on and off working in hospitality in establishments that have required very high levels of standard.

I have cared for friends and families properties while they have been on vacation but also managed a multi million dollar boutique style accommodation venue in Australia that included a 300 meter square home for months at a time while the owners were overseas.

Having spent many years of my life so far on rural properties I am used to animals and like the quiet environment that it can provide. It also teaches you how to deal with the little difficulties that rural life can bring such as lack of water or wood fires.

Owning and running a business maintaining commercial and private gardens often in the absence of the owners has given me all the skills needed to keep your garden in top condition while your away.

In my spare time I love to exercise, cook vegetarian food and garden with a keen interest in organics.

I had a much loved Labradoodle from a pup as my pet/ friend for 13 years then after he passed away a Hunterway, Kelpie, Collie,cross puppy for 12 years I nursed him through chemotherapy and a leg amputation before I lost him to cancer.
I've also cared for numerous dogs, cats a few cold water fish and a rabbit briefly on one occasion while house sitting.
