Hello, I’m Brooke! 35-year-old artist, educator, and support worker, born and raised in Sydney. After three years living in London, I’m excited to be back and caring for homes and beloved pets across beautiful Sydney.

Gentle. Nurturing. Kind-hearted.

With a love for animals and a sense of adventure, it didn’t take long for me to discover that housesitting is my calling. I genuinely enjoy helping others, connecting with new people, and exploring corners of Sydney I might never have known otherwise.

For me, housesitting is more than simply feeding a pet – it’s about connection, contribution, and peace of mind. I bring the same person-centred, trauma-informed care to animals as I do with people. I know it can be stressful for pets when their humans are away, and I do everything I can to make them feel calm, safe, and loved.

🌻 EXPERIENCE

– Over five years’ experience as a live-in housesitter for stays of up to six months.
– Ensured the safety and security of 40+ homes, from terraces and apartments to large family houses.
– Cared for cats, dogs, puppies, kittens, fish, and rabbits, from well-trained pedigree pets to anxious rescue companions.
– Confident with vet visits, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and emergencies.
– Attentive and affectionate, maintaining familiar routines – from walks and playtime to day trips to the dog beach!
– Known for clear, responsive communication, providing daily updates via text, email, WhatsApp or FaceTime.
– Keeps gardens, flowers, and houseplants thriving – even in the summer heat (including a cherished Bonsai named Judy!).
– Responsible with all household tasks: mail collection, bin day, pet food shopping, and liaising with cleaners or maintenance staff.
– Careful and calm when administering medication or following specific dietary requirements.
