Bribie Island is connected to the mainland by a bridge and surrounded by beaches and many walking trails. Wonderful weather year-round. The island has most you could need, and there are more shops within a 30-minute drive for serious shopping. Our home is located in Banksia Beach. It is new and has a private wooded back view with an alfresco living area. Our neighborhood is friendly with excellent and thoughtful neighbors, and it is a short drive or bike ride to the local shops. The residential area includes a golf course, gym, lap pool, tennis courts and club restaurant - all accessible using our membership.
Our dog, Buster is a mini groodle who loves walks, playing ball and snuggles. He expects to be walked in the morning and there is an easy 3 km loop around the housing estate. He is well behaved, 2 years old. Accommodation provided is a studio apartment under the main roof that comprises queen bed with private ensuite and separate sitting area with TV and kitchenette.
We are looking for a responsible person or couple to look after Buster, maintain our home and water plants/garden. We prefer someone (nonsmoker) who will not leave Buster alone for more than 3 hours each day.
Please note: we are unable to provide our car, so you'll need to ideally rent a car or take the shuttle/uber from the airport. We do have a bike you can use and it's a 15-20 minute bike ride to the shops, farther to main beach and other areas of the island. Read more...
