About this house sitting position in Broken Hill

I live in a remote Mining Town in Far West NSW near the SA border, 3 hours drive from Mildura Vic, 5.5hrs drive to Adelaide.

I have a 3 bedroom house (1 is a small bedroom used as a dining room, there is a double bed in the spare room plus 2 single sofa bed/ottomans).

You would need to look after 2 indoor cats Meggsy and Rascal. They love cuddles but also need to make sure that they do NOT venture outside the house no matter the sad looks and attempts. You will need to clean out their litter trays and of course feed and water.
I am travelling to spend my first Christmas with family in many years.

There is lots to see and do in and around The Hill. I'm about 15min walking distance from the centre of town where there is the town library, variety of retail shops, post office, pharmacy and cafes/restaurants.
There is a lot of mining history and art galleries to discover. There is an aquatic centre to cool off 2-3km up the road.

You will need your own transport as I am driving my car to Sydney. There are public buses and taxis in town. I have on-street parking or a garage behind the house. Read more...
