Re-advertising because booked house-sitters can now only do part of the required time.
We are looking for a caring, cat loving, preferably non-smoking house sitter to look after our house (as if it were your own) and gentle/clean/quiet/friendly 18 year old mainly indoor cat. She needs feeding & clean water bowl twice a day, litter box cleaning if she needs to go whilst there is no access to the garden and lots of TLC. Her litter box is not in any living area, it is in undercover outdoor area & there is a cat door for access.
Our house is 1-storey and has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounges/sitting rooms, open plan kitchen/dining, an enclosed outdoor pergola, a large drive, both front & back gardens with sunny spots for relaxing + frogs + varied native bird-life, BBQ, indoor & outdoor washing lines, ducted heating, evaporative cooling, internet, solar panels, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave.
We live in a quiet Court, within walking distance of the Wetlands (kangaroos, frogs, bird hide to observe numerous water birds, walking & cycle paths), less than 4km to the beautiful beach/Chelsea shops & cafes/train station (Frankston-Melbourne line)/library/police station/Woolworths, with bus services running 2 mins walk away, parkland a few mins walk, Bicentennial Park 1.8km away, local shops (including IGA, PO, pharmacy, medical centre & various eateries) just 1.3km away, 8mins drive to Patterson Lakes shopping centre (including Coles), 10 mins to Aldi and vet & 10mins to Braeside Park. Also 10mins drive to Eastlink, 2km drive to the Frankston Freeway which meets the Peninsula Link taking you down the Mornington Peninsula (hot springs, Point Nepean National Park, Sorrento, Arthur's Seat, ), 13km to Westfield Southland & 45mins drive to the city (non rush-hour).
We would prefer sitter/s who are around most of the time (but this is not a deal breaker) and ideally they need to be able to visit to learn the intricacies of the house & our cat before 7th September. Start and end dates may be flexible. Read more...
