About this house sitting position in Clifton Hill
Our home is freestanding on a generous block with LOTS of garden! We face Yarra Bend Park and Merri Creek - lovely walks from here. 1km walk from Rail Station, frequent trains to/from Melbourne.
Duties: we actively work the garden, so a 'job' would be to water the Spring growing vegies etc. We have a delightful cat "Skippy John Jones" (named by grandchildren), who does NOT roam outside, but is either in the house with us or goes to the shed with attached cat cage - where he spends his days happily. He sleeps all night in the laundry, only miaows when we move around in the morning. So cat litter tray in house & shed need daily cleaning; also feed and water of course. And that's about it.

As well as protecting wildlife in the large garden by providing the usual indoor cat gear from late afternoon, Andrew and Heather have a huge outdoor cat cage so that his free time in the garden can be controlled.
Looking after the vegetable garden was an additional delight, tidying and watering vegetables with time to smell all the fabulous roses in high summer.
Heather and Andrew are family home makers in every sense; they kindly did many small things to welcome me and ensured the stay and pet duties were problem-free.
