About this house sitting position in Cunnamulla

We live on a large sheep and cattle station in South Western QLD. We are currently in severe drought, as you are probably aware. As a result I am going to be in Emerald working from March to June on a short contract, but we will be returning regularly. My husband will still be based on the farm but will also be taking jobs where he is away several weeks at a time and also, coming to visit us.

We are located 150km south east of Cunnamulla (QLD) off the Jobs Gate Road, or 200km north of Bourke (NSW) travelling north east when you hit Engonnia. Google the suburb of 'Noorama QLD 4490' and that will get you close. The QLD/NSW border runs through our aggregation. There are many things to do not too far from our property during this time of year including the iconic 'Noorama Races'; and Music in the Mulga plus much more.

The main jobs will be around the main house which is 4 bdrm, keeping lawns, pool, chooks and kelpie alive and keeping the house lived in so to speak. We are also able to connect a caravan directly into our Governess accommodation which will give you access to shower, kitchen, foxtel, internet and bedrooms if you prefer to travel with your own accommodation or prefer not to share the main house on occasion when we are at home.

Sitters with pets are welcome but please note we are a working sheep property which means that sheep and rangeland goats will be grazing in very close proximity to the house. Dogs will need to be suitably supervised and/or restrained during your stay to avoid any unfortunate incidents, we hope you understand.
