About this house sitting position in Dunedoo

Relax and enjoy the slower pace of country living and immerse yourself in the life and community of a small regional town in Central West NSW - 'where the people make the difference'. Get to know the locals over the five weeks you are here, and make lifelong friendships.

You will have access to and use of most of my older style, concrete block house, including a large main bedroom with ensuite and reverse cycle aircon, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and large open plan dining and lounge area, with TV and wood burner heating, a large, partly enclosed 'conservatory/mud room' (I don't really know what to call this room!) and an outdoor deck with gas BBQ.

The house is on a large fully fenced block with plenty of access and room to park your caravan or camper, as well as an outdoor covered area, where you can sit and relax with a drink as the sun goes down.

I have one cat (Miimi) and a medium sized dog (Molly), who require daily feeding, love and affection. Molly is partial to a daily walk and both animals love to spend time indoors, but are also happy to be outdoors for periods of time.

Some basic plant and garden care is required, but lawns will be maintained by a contractor.

What to do in Dunedoo . . .
The house is within walking distance of the town supermarket, butcher, library and museum, Hospital and chemist, specialty shops, parks, pub and cafes, and Bowling Club. The Sports Club has a golf course, squash and tennis courts. Our swimming pool operates over the spring/summer period and there is a farmers and artisan market on the second Saturday of each month in the towns main street park.

There is access to a river walk trail just 50 meters from the house and a beautiful Woodlands Reserve just a 2 minute drive away, for bush walking and bird watching.

The town is part of the region's Central West Cycle Trail (check out their website) and Silo Art Trail, as well as being surrounded by a large number of tourist destinations suitable for day trips, such as Wellington Caves, the historic gold mining town of Gulgong, the Warrumbungle Ranges, Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo and and the Mudgee wine area.
