Hi sitters!
We have a lovely home located in Mackay, Queensland.
Our home is in the suburbs of the northern beaches and is a 3 minute drive to a shopping complex, cafe's, restaurant etc. and a 5 minute drive to the closest beach. There are some beautiful walking spots, national parks and waterholes. We are also a 1.5hour drive to Airlie Beach.

My partner and I are looking for a SOLO FEMALE (stated why further below) who is reliable, friendly and patient to care for our 2 cats and blue tongue lizard. Please note our cats are both indoor/outdoor cats so it's not necessary to stay at home all day everyday.

Our 2 cats, Peach (ginger) and Ricky (black) have very different personalities. Peach is extremely timid and is scared of males, hence why we ask for no males. She will warm up to females, so if possible, we would love for someone to meet her before we organise a house sitter. We are open to a house sitter staying for a day or two prior to our trip away (if you don't mind) so she knows she's in safe hands.

Ricky is very talkative! He will usually sleep inside during the day, go out in the afternoon and then sometimes sleep with you at night. He is quite a greedy guts and will eat Peach's food, so we have given him a challenge bowl. We feed our cats at night because the automatic cat feeder will drop out dry food in the mornings.

Our blue tongue lizard, Chuck, will only require feeding once when we are away. He eats live mealworms and blueberries. He can be a little temperamental so we will show you how to feed him.

Our house duties are very minimal - we just have a few flower pots out the front and herb pots out the back which require daily watering. Otherwise, that is it!

You would have your own bedroom and bathroom, and our home is completely airconned.
