About this house sitting position in George Town
Small one level, 3 bedroom house on a large residential block of land with 2 indoor cats - Monty a tabby and Abby a grey, half Abbyssinian princess. Both are desexed and 12 years old so spend a lot of time sleeping. Neither cat likes other animals and Monty takes a while to warm to strangers. Abby on the other hand thinks everyone is there to admire and pat her. The house has a wood fueled firebox in the lounge, 2 portable Dyson heaters and is very easy to look after. During spring (the time of the house sit) lawn mowing would probably be once every 3 weeks (easy to use electric mower provided) - very much dependent on the weather. Pulling out the weeds before they take over is a very much appreciated requirement.
The main street of George Town is about a 30 minute leisurely walk and the closest restaurant is about a 20 minute walk. Apart from a Woolworths and IGA, George Town has an excellent bakery and local butcher.
