🐱🐱Healthy cats - so no extra care needs.

We live in a nature area so they are absolutely not free outdoor cats. But the whole backyard is netted for them.
Despite that they prefer going out the front: we keep them on their leads attached to tree.
* that can be bit of an effort because they’re cats (in/out/in/out) or they’re wrapped around the trunk of tree. (They don’t climb them so it’s safe)

They do try to escape out the front door sometimes, so you just need to be aware open slowly door slowly as you come in and out yourself.

Toileting - They use backyard corners so you don’t even need to do kitty litter often.

They mostly get a long but do fight occasionally, nothing serious.

Tom (tabby) can be whiney. He’s a sweetie but can be demanding when he’s hungry or wants to go outside.
He’ll also say (yell) a goodnight when he’s going to bed - but you’re welcome to close doors to keep your mornings more peaceful.
Other than that he is very sweet. He’s fine with being picked up and loves a chin scratch, and cuddles in “his” bed.

Ella (white) is pretty shy to start (although that’s improving), she may hide. She is very sweet. She doesn’t love pats without consent and hates being picked up. But loves a head and cheek scratch and may bump your hand for pats.

They both love the shoe lace as a favourite toy. And Ella will also play with balls and hair ties. Tom sometimes likes being chased around the backyard lol.

🥕 Feel free to eat out garden produce. Whatever is in the veggie garden, and we also have some fruit trees and macadamia.

Local facilities:
🛒 IGA is half an hour walk away, or 5 minute drive.
Woolworths (Emu Plains) is 10 minute drive.

🚶‍♀️The lagoon is opposite us (providing a nice view, especially at sunset) and a small walk (1.3km) around.

More serious walks are available at a short drive: Lennox bridge, Knapsack Viaduct.
40 minute drive to Katoomba/3 sisters.

Pub and some takeaways are a 8 minute walk (fish & chips, chicken & chips, kebab, pizza).

🏊‍♀️Local pool is about 15 minute walk.
