About this house sitting position in Gowrie

We live in a lovely, comfortable house with amazing views of the Brindabellas. Our home has two bedrooms and a study ( which also has a single lounge which converts to a single bed), a main bathroom with separate toilet and an ensuite off the main bedroom, a lounge/dining room and a family room. The house underwent some renovations in 2023 including a new front deck, stunning new kitchen and new flooring throughout. This year we also installed double glazed windows to add an another layer to the energy efficiency of our home. We will be travelling overseas and need someone to look after our home and our beautiful male Border Collie pup, Finn who will be nearly 5 months old when we leave. He is a clever, funny, affectionate and lovely boy who is about to start puppy school. He loves people and likes to play. While he can be left alone for a few hours at a time, we would prefer a sitter who will be around or someone who works from home. A couple or single person would be ideal. The house is surrounded by great walking tracks and there is a fabulous coffee shop, pharmacy, grocery shop and hairdressers only a two minute walk from the house.
NB: The start date is not flexible, the chosen sitter would need to meet up with us and Finn in person a day or two before Sept 5. If sitters cannot complete the entire housesit, we have a back up sitter available from the end of September. Read more...
