About this house sitting position in Habana

We are looking for reliable, dog loving, easy going and IT savvy house sitters (Daily updates via facebook, email, Skype or WhatsApp please). I am going to say we prefer a couple only because we have rain water only and it means less strain on our water supply. We would love to hear from you if you do have kids anyway, it's just that long hot baths/showers etc are a thing of the past in our neck of the woods. We live in a recently reno'd 2 bedroom shouse on 6 acres, it's got all the mod cons and is exactly like any house inside. We have unlimited NBN, airconditioning, Netflix and beautiful, peaceful surroundings where you will spot wallabies most mornings and afternoons. We have 2 cows, Gerdy and Dora so you will need to fill their water maybe twice a week and 2 very big dogs, Marilyn and Milo who are our world. They're big sooks and require lots of love and attention. There is a chance you will need to operate a ride on lawn mower but only if it pours rain whilst we are away as we will make sure the lawns are all done before you arrive (there are no other gardening chores for you to do). There is only about half an acre that gets mowed as the rest is taken care of by our cows. It is preferable you have experience with water tanks and pumps as a "just in case". You absolutely must be water conscious and it'd be good if you were handy in general but this isn't necessary. If you have your own van or motorhome we have plenty of room for you to set up. Unfortunately our dogs aren't always good with other dogs so we have said no to bringing your own animals. We live 15 mins to the closest shopping centre and 25 min from Mackay CBD. Woolies and Coles do home delivery if you do online groceries. A fantastic pizza shop does home delivery to Habana and only charge a $10 delivery fee (it's a 40km round trip to their store). If you fancy a daytrip to Airlie Beach that's about 1hr 15 mins North of us or a trip up the ranges to beautiful Eungella is an hour. We are flying out on the 27th September but you are welcome to arrive a few days beforehand. We have only ever had family or friends look after our place so we are a bit nervous about this.
