About this house sitting position in Howrah
Low maintenance house and cat require some love while we are away. 20 mins from Hobart. Come to Tasmania during Dark MOFO and the Festival of Voices, the highlight of our winter season.
Our little 3 bed house is low maintenance. 2 indoor plants and George the cat. George needs feeding and watering twice a day but if you want to get away and explore Tassie for a few days, we have an automatic feeder. and are fine with that.
George has a cat flap and comes and goes as he wants. (expect to see him at least twice a day around meal time). He also likes to lay around on the sofa and any bed he can find. He likes to be close to you but generally not on you, he loves a stroke and will sometimes find his way onto your bed in the night if you leave your bedroom door open! He loves small people but not other pets so much.
We have lived in our house for 18 months. We are landscaping the back so no plants as yet, we just planted the seeds for the lawn. We have a fire pit out the back for those wonderful winter nights... please use.
We have beautiful Tas Oak floors and ask that you bring slippers, we're a no shoe household. We have a new heat pump installed 6 months ago so you should be nice and cosy. Non smokers please.
Our neighbourhood is beautiful sunny and, quiet and our house is about 3 mins walk onto the beach. You can get a bus into Hobart (20 mins). The buses run frequently.
