About this house sitting position in Hurlstone Park (Dulwich Hill)
MODERN INNER WEST APARTMENT WITH CITY VIEWS + TWO KITTIES!
Hi, I'm Tennille and am looking for a house sitter for my apartment, two kittens (10month old sibling cats) and varied collection of houseplants. I'm travelling back to Tasmania to be with my family as one of them has suffered a medical emergency and it will be the first opportunity I can return to the state due to Covid.
The property is an open plan, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, modern and new apartment with a large balcony (with city views) and a separate small enclosed internal courtyard. The second bedroom is set up as a home office, perfect for the professional working from home. The master bedroom is very large, has an ensuite, and equipped with a queen bed and a double wardrobe for your use. There is ample street parking in surrounding streets, or Visitor parking in the onsite multi-level garage if you time it just right! There is some road noise, but the large glass sliding doors block out the majority. The balcony will be perfect for enjoying an evening drink watching the sunset, or that early morning coffee watching the sunrise - your choice!
I have two cats Lilo (F) & Stitch (M) who I'd love to keep at home vs sending to a kennel for such a long period. They are cuddly and talkative, energetic and playful being they are young but very sweet and gentle floof balls of love. They love nothing more than to keep you company while you work (I'm currently working from home) or to sit on your lap while you watch TV. They'll keep your toes warm at night on the end of the bed if they're in the mood. They're pretty independent and you might go large portions of the day where they don't sit beside you, but, trust they'll pop in and demand attention (usually around lunch time and in the evening when you should be taking a work break anyway!).
The only maintenance at the property is watering the plants, a daily clean of the kitty litter, and the usual home duties like vacuuming etc. The kittens would need daily play/affection, feeding and fresh water. I have a family member nearby for support should anything dramatic happen with the kittens or the apartment.
The apartment is in a secure complex and in a great inner-west Sydney suburb. Dulwich Hill village centre is a 10-15 minute walk, Hurlstone Park village an easy 5 minute walk. Both have cafes, restaurants, IGA supermarkets and only a 10 minute drive to Ashfield or Marrickville shopping centres, but also easily able to get food/groceries delivered too. City direct bus stop right out front. Light rail (Dulwich Grove) and train (Hurlstone Park) only 5 minute walks away.
