About this house sitting position in Kensington
Newly renovated terrace house with beautiful views over a park with huge peppercorn trees - yet still just a few short kilometres from the CBD. Close to two train stations so the perfect base for local sightseeing or for those who work in the city. A river, and walking and biking trails on the door step. The downstairs is freshly renovated with a fabulous new kitchen, hardwood floors, and triple glazing throughout. There are three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus downstairs toilet. However, only the master bedroom will be available. (This is to save sorting out the children's rooms before we leave.)
Duties include keeping the house clean (of course!), tending to a small garden, caring for a young Border collie, a cat, two guinea pigs, and some chickens, and putting the bins out on Wednesday evening. All the animals are pretty chilled, with the beautiful Pip (the dog) needing most attention.
Pip will be 5 months old by when the house is available, and if things keep going as well as there are, she will be fully toilet trained. We are taking her training seriously, so this would really suit someone who is experienced with raising well behaved dogs. She is very sweet natured, and calm.
