Come to the beautiful South Burnett and park under the trees on acreage just 5 minutes to town. Walk in the forests of the Bunya Mountains, bike along the rail trails, sample the many flavours at the peanut van, star gaze at the observatory, fish at nearby dams, visit country markets/stores/museums and art galleries, follow the wine trails...
Looking for a retired couple who would be willing to provide at least 5-7 hours of assistance each week as part of the house-sit. There is then ample opportunity to provide more hours of assistance which would be remunerated at $15/hr (with preference for house-sitters who can offer more hours). This house-sit would focus on assisting a retiree (who will be present most of the time) get the house ready for resale. The timing of tasks will depend on both the owner and the sitters plans to enjoy the area. Optional roles would be assisting in setting up and running a garage sale, assisting in moving one hire truck of plants to Brisbane, assistance in yard maintenance and house cleaning. If you are handy that would be an extra bonus!
There are 2 dogs, a cat, 2 birds and fish at the property so we would need to see if this would work if you have a pet. Read more...
