Hello!
We have two loving and high energy dogs who would love to host you in our home a few weeks this October-November for 3.5 weeks whilst we are overseas.
Our home is in the cul de sac of our court, and all homes are owner occupied with plenty of lovely neighbours who are families and retired couples. The house itself, comprises of 3 bedrooms (master - king, 2nd room - queen, 3rd room - nursery), 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen-living-dining, separate office/rumpus room/dog bedroom, and a double carport. We also have a pool and a slide (kids would love it) with a large undercover deck and outside tv to enjoy on those hot days. All rooms have aircons (all recently installed and/or serviced).
Lexi is an 8 yr old German Shepherd (26-28kg) who loves to bark at anything that comes past our home (cat, dog, human, car, etc), but acts like a total puppy when you are inside our home and give her pats. She loves to play ball with you, although the retrieving part is still a working progress (it's simply not in the breed).
Merc is a 6 year old Kelpie X Cattle (25-26kg) who loves to look for geckos (just say the word and he's off), he also loves to annoy Lexi and wrestle her for the ball. He can also be affectionate, and loves a good wrestle and scratch on the belly.
Walking the dogs is no easy feat, and is a recommended two person job, one dog each. Walking is not a daily requirement, just a few times per week at most.
Additionally requirements during the house/dog sit period would include watering a few plants and mowing the lawn 1-2 times during the sitting period.
