About this house sitting position in Launceston
We have a bed and breakfast which we run remotely but need house sitters to live in the house and be available to assist with maintaining security over the property by being on site on a daily basis (full time workers ok as long as you are able to stay overnight).
Accommodation is one ensuite room on the ground floor of the property. House sitter has access to the common areas of the bed and breakfast (grand dining room, games room, landscaped grounds etc) and predominantly private use of the full kitchen (not available to guests however cleaners will access during the checkout period).
There are only a few recurring business-related tasks to be performed by the house sitter, such as to be responsive to communications and to put the bins in and out once per week, and to let us know of any security related or maintenance issues. Sometimes we may need you to be on site to allow for tradespeople to gain access.
All our guest communications are done remotely by us
and we are as self-service guest house so guests can be largely self sufficient or we can direct them to what they need remotely.
