About this house sitting position in Newport

We are looking for a person or couple (definitely non-smoking) to house sit and look after our 2 small to medium size dogs - mainly just feed 2 times a day and 2 short walks. While they are smallish, they are not very well trained, so they pull on lead when walking and are reactive to nearby dogs / scooters / bikes.

We have a new townhouse in Newport Queensland on a man-made lake. We just heated the plunge pool - so you are able to use this if you feel the need for a dip. The surrounding area is flat and close to beach, parks, restaurants, shopping centers etc. It is also a fairly quiet area.).

We have a Queen size bed with ensuite on ground floor with lounge. The kitchen and main lounge is on the second floor. There is office space/s if needed. We have a BBQ on second floor verandah, which we cook on. Also we have a couple of microwaves, including one which is conventional /grill.

We can leave the use of one car if needed, esp to take dogs to dog park, though this has insurance conditions attached.

As we have just moved here (~2 months), there may be things that haven't been installed (e.g. security screens, window curtains) but hopefully the dog door will be fitted before we leave.

My parents and adult daughter live in Brisbane, so are not far if needed for questions, emergencies, etc. Read more...
