About this house sitting position in NORTH DEEP CREEK

G'day house -sitters, travellers and grey nomads.
This is a combination of house-sitting and sharing because with the current Covid situation, I am often working from home, and only travelling for meetings etc. Poss has just returned to interstate fifo but that could change again at any time.
When we are home, we are also working on the longterm project of finishing building this home and retreat. We're struggling to keep momentum going on the project with our changing work rosters and pay cuts and particularly when I'm working from home, the mounting chores are getting me down.

You'll have plenty of privacy if that's what you prefer or some company if you'd like to become friends You'll have some comfortable accommodation in your own large ensuited room, or you can bring your camper and hook up to our power and water and have exclusive use of a bathroom. A longer stay could be arranged if you have your own self-contained camper.

We'd like to exchange the accommodation for a couple of hours help each day tidying the garden or doing odd jobs around the house.
Your help would be low-level exertion, relaxed pottering type help with your choice of tasks eg pruning, planting, wedding, pressure cleaning pavers etc sorting tools, problem solving maintenance issues, cleaning/sanding/oiling timber joinery, cleaning paint off glass, painting etc. If you have the skills we could discuss other tasks you could help out with on the project. Anything would be a great help as it frees us up to do other jobs, so when you arrive, you can take a look around and we can discuss what you prefer to do.
We are located in a beautiful and peaceful native forest, where you can recharge your soul and see wild wallabies, kangaroos, possums, various reptiles, and over 100 species of beautiful birds and we can share travel stories and enjoy each others company for a while with a happy hour cuppa, drink or share a meal sometimes.
This exchange is aimed towards folk who enjoy the bush and feel like having a little something to do and contribute towards for a while and who wish to make a longer friendship connection with us.

Location:
Our property is at North Deep Creek, which is due north of Gympie, in the hills about midway between the Bruce Hwy and The Tin Can Bay Rd. It's 15kms to Gympie's Mary Street town centre and 12kms from the Victory Hotel and shop. There's plenty to do and see in and around Gympie.
Please note: mobile phone and internet is very poor here because we are in a forest in a valley, there is okay mobile reception up the driveway on the property, and there is a landline phone here you are welcome to receive or make unlimited calls from. My work provided satellite wifi data allowance is very limited and access would be limited to emailing messages etc
Pets: I am allergic to cats and this is a wildlife reserve near a state forest, so we could only allow one well-trained dog.
