About this house sitting position in O'Connor

We are going OS and our dog, cat, chickens and house need looking after. The cat (Diesel) is a bit wary but the dog (Brax) makes friends straight away. He needs a walk every day and can use as much exercise as he is given. He also needs a lot of attention and company. He is a big dog who thinks he is a lap dog. He tends to fret when left alone so somebody who is home most days, working from home or retired, would be preferred.
The house is a brick three bed plus study with family room, lounge room and dining room. It's gas centrally heated - a must in Canberra as winter persists. There are two chickens in the backyard pen that hopefully will keep you in eggs and consume all scraps. The pretty wild garden should not require any work. The pot plants will require watering if rain is scarce.
The house is a five minute drive or 20 minute walk from the heart of Canberra and the ANU.
The last house in a cul-de-sac we have parkland on two sides and the two decks overlook extensive reserves and ovals. Even so it’s a very private house surrounded by trees. Out the back gate and you're on the bike path to anywhere in Canberra. Read more...
