About this house sitting position in Ocean View

We’re located in the beautiful hills behind Caboolture, a charming, tourist-friendly area. We’re looking for a quiet, reliable, tidy, and mature couple who would enjoy caring for our property and animals for about 4 weeks to a month next autumn. Our travel dates are flexible since we haven’t booked anything yet, so we’re happy to work with your schedule—the dates provided are just a rough range.

You’d be staying at a beautiful rural lifestyle property with a veggie patch, 2 cattle, chickens, and a cat. The property suits a couple who understand and appreciate the remoteness and peacefulness of country life. You’d have a comfortable guest room with your own bathroom, a cozy living room with a kitchen, and a large veranda to relax on and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The house is easy to access with just a few steps and is private, quiet, and remote. Since the closest shop is about 13 minutes away by car, you’d need your own transport.

We are looking for someone meticulous, who will treat our home and property with care and respect. There are a few house rules to ensure everything stays in great condition—such as no shoes inside the house and no visitors/family/parties.

What’s involved?

#Feed and water the chickens and collect their eggs in the morning.
# Sprinkle some food for the goldfish once a day.
# Give the cows their morning hay and check their water.
# Feed and water the cat twice a day.
As for the garden, we’re happy to discuss what’s needed depending on your interest and preferences.
