About this house sitting position in Olinda
Hi. We are looking for someone to sit our pet at home while we are away. Take her for walks and give her food daily, plus some much needed cuddles and company. She is 4 year old French Bulldog, very energetic and absolutely spoiled. Very social and loves watching TV on the couch with you.
We do not require someone staying at home, so someone local could work, but we do have space for it, with a private on-suite for guests. Our house has also internet and foxtel. It is located about 2 kms from Olinda (National Rhododendron Gardens), surrounded by national parks and walk paths to discover.
Because we live in the Dandenong Ranges, it is recommended you have a car to move around, as there is very limited public transport in the area. The bus stop and some local shops are about 2 kms from our house. To get to supermarkets is a bit more than that.
It tends to rain a bit more out here. Unless you are a WALKER, might not be a good option without a car.
It would be suitable for someone that likes to stay home a lot and enjoy local walks, peaceful living with amazing views and animal spotting (lyrebirds, kangaroos, bush birds, etc). Read more...
